War

I am deeply disturbed, unsettled in my spirit about the things I see happening in the world today, especially in these “United States.” Sin abounds unchecked, accepted even. We look at what is being forced upon us, forced upon our children and woe to those who does not accept these “lifestyles” as normal. As “Christians” we are outraged at LGBQT+, CRT, Antifa and other racists or hateful groups using lettered acronyms. The destruction of our country causes the patriot inside me to desire to help other like-minded patriots fix it by any means necessary. But the believer in me brings me to another understanding, another action.

But first, let’s look at why we’re in the shape we’re in today. These events happening on the world stage should not surprise us at all. God said It was going to happen. He gives us a picture of what the last days would look like.

Matthew 24:37-39

37 But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying, and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, 39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Ok so, before the coming of Jesus, the days will be like the days of Noah, eating, drinking etc. Let’s go back to Genesis 6 to see just what was going on.

Genesis 6:5

And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

The wickedness was great in the earth, just a few verses before this we see that the sons of God (fallen angels) had taken women of the earth and had children with them. If this wickedness described in Genesis caused God to be sorry, he ever made man, it grieved Him in His heart. How grieved and sorry might God be right now given today’s hot topic, abortion and the number of people supporting the “right” to kill a baby in its mother’s womb. Why is it wickedness of today is considered human rights. How twisted how screwed up does one’s mind have to be to see these things as acceptable. Romans tells us that God has given them exactly what they asked for. Romans 1:24 “God gave them up,” Romans 1:26 “God gave them up”, Romans 1:28 “God gave them over”.

Romans 1:24 “God gave them up” to the lusts in their own minds, Jesus said that if you lust after a woman you have committed adultery with her in your heart already; sin inside one’s own mind and body.

Romans 1: 26 “God gave them up to vile affections”, this began in their minds and moved from sinning by themselves to sinning with members of the same sex

Finally, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, a depraved mind, unapproved, rejected a literally and morally worthless mind. I have seen and heard speeches from elected leaders outraged by the very notion that this “right” could be in jeopardy. As I see these images of these people, I see demonic possession. The attacks, these so-called defenses are against God Himself and His Word.

So, it’s time, it’s time we do something. First, we are not fighting against flesh and blood, we are not fighting against the government. We get caught up in the symptoms of the attacks and we fight against the human agents pushing the satanic agenda and fail to realize the true culprit is the prince of darkness. When we fight against the “social issues” we abandon the true calling of the church. We want to change the world, but we forget that this world is not our home. When our attention is diverted to “social issues” we’re not fulfilling the mission of the church of Jesus Christ on earth. If you desire real change in the world, realize that you can’t change it. But if you want to have a real impact for the kingdom of God, focus on changing one life at a time. At Foundation church, we have a vision to change lives, that is one life at a time and thereby snatching souls from the clutches of Satan.

Ephesians 6:17

And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

The sword is not a solely a defensive weapon, it is use offensively as well. In modern terms, grab your guns (all of scripture), fill it with bullets (scripture memorization). We are in a spiritual battle against people who are demon possessed. What’s at stake are the souls of those that are destined for eternity without Christ. The job of the church is to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ until He returns or until He takes us up. We are at war, grab your guns and let’s go, one soul, one life changed can begin an onslaught of change until the King of Kings and Lord of Lords returns with His army clothed in white, when His sword will smite the nations with complete and total victory. We win, ‘nuff said.
