How To Win The Battle In Your Mind:

Steps to having a great week:

1. You don't have to be ashamed of your struggle with mental health. The mind is a battlefield and you are not alone in this battle. As a matter of fact, we don't want you to go at this battle alone. We are launching a brand new online Facebook Community Group to help you have friends and a faith family to lean on with your struggle. Click the here to join.

Also invite someone you know that is struggling. Your invitation just may save a life.

2. It takes more than prayer! When prayer is not enough, examine where you are hanging your thoughts (Meditation)! Find creative ways to shift your thoughts by meditating on good, wholesome, uplifting thoughts of inspiration.

(Examples maybe: Listen to worship music, Read a book, memorize scripture and meditate on it, take a walk and listen to a podcast or find a friend to speak into your life)

“If you have nothing to redirect your thoughts they will avalanche back into the thoughts that cause pain instead of blessing.” -Pastor Jason

3. Jesus is Savior and Lord so He can help you control your mind.

Prayer will be key! To think right, we need to pray right: From Philippians 4:6-

Prayer is about me seeking God. (God I seek YOU)

Prayer is about my attitude about life being right. (God I thank YOU)

Prayer is about me releasing desires and burdens to God so I can walk into a life of faith and focus.  (God I give _____________ to YOU)

“Prayer is your doorway to God who has the power to give you a sound mind.”  -Pastor Jason

“If you under-estimate the value of prayer, you will over-estimate your own power and lose the battle with yourself.” -Pastor Jason

God’s thoughts about you from Jeremiah 29:11: “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.”

Stay positive, God is in control!
