How to find happiness in a relationship that feels like it can't be restored

Happiness is a by-product of healthy relationships, but sometimes relationships are so damaged it feels like nothing will ever be the same. Your personal happiness is still possible by asking yourself three powerful questions to make sure you have done your part.

β“πŸ™ Question 1: Have you repented and asked God to restore the relationship?

1 John 1:8-9

8 If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

β“βœŒπŸ»Question 2: Have you pursued peace with the other person or people?

Romans 12:18

If possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all.

β“βœοΈ Question 3: Have you forgiven them?

Matthew 6:14-15

14 For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you, 15 but if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

Now, be happy in your obedience to God. Rejoice in the Lord.
