Marriage:  how to fight fair

Marriage: How to fight fair? ๐ŸฅŠ

Every good marriage learns how to fight fair, itโ€™s how we work through our problems and frustrations with each other because no marriage is perfect and sometimes enough is enough. As a matter of fact, if you donโ€™t learn how to fight fair, you will most likely fight unfair and hurt each other. Fighting for what really matters in a marriage is not wrong. Love, respect, sacrifice, each other, faith in God are all good reasons to fight, so let me show you how to fight fair.

โœŒ๐ŸปBe calm but passionate.

You donโ€™t have to raise your voice to settle the dispute.

Proverbs 15:1 (ESV)

A soft answer turns away wrath,

but a harsh word stirs up anger.

๐Ÿ‘€ Be a solution seeker.

Truth always brings freedom so look for truth more than the problem.

John 8:32 (ESV)

32 and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.โ€

๐Ÿ’Ÿ Believe in each other.

The relationship has value, or you would have never married.

Philippians 1:6 (ESV)

6 And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.

๐Ÿ Bat away your anger.

Ephesians 4:26 (ESV)

26 Be angry and do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger,

And, my favorite part-always kiss and make up. ๐Ÿ’‹๐Ÿ’
